What We Do
What we do is constantly contemplate and solve problems with innovative thinking. It's something that everyone must do and it's something we must do our best for the next generation. Constantly innovating and contemplating for the next generation, that's what we do
When we first learned about the world's ocean and soil pollution through a documentary a decade ago, we had a gut feeling that our calling was there. We have been finding ways, innovating, and running tirelessly ever since. Our story may not be flashy or inspiring, but we have quietly persevered with a sense of duty to do what needs to be done.
Although we are currently focusing on plastic waste, which is one of the most problematic materials in the recycling system, our vision extends beyond that. We aim to tackle global issues that affect the entire planet, such as soil, ocean, and air pollution. We are willing to become custodians of the Earth and will not shy away from fighting on the front lines
"Our ultimate goal is to achieve 100% recycling of all plastic waste in the world."

Our Goal
Our first goal is to replace outdated methods such as SRF thermal power plants and incinerators with eco-friendly thermal decomposition facilities. To achieve this, we need to collaborate closely with the government and local authorities, and we require extensive networks, personnel, and assistance. As South Korea is currently going through a transitional period towards eco-friendly facilities, it is facing various challenges and confusion. UPC Energy hopes to provide the right solutions during these uncertain times and lead the eco-friendly business. To do so, our primary objective is to become a pioneer in the field by introducing our eco-friendly plastic waste thermal decomposition technology, starting with the launch of our new SSP facility in 2024. We aim to accomplish this goal with sophistication and firm determination.
Our Vision
Global plastic waste projects have all aimed to collect and separate "it" from nature, but the reality is that there is still no real solution for final disposal. While collecting plastic waste from the ocean is crucial, incinerating it will create another environmental problem, resulting in a vicious cycle. We promise to deeply engage in global projects and provide a groundbreaking solution for eco-friendly final disposal of plastic waste, and it is our vision to provide this solution worldwide.
